We Love Our Suitcases…

Today we moved.

You may be wondering why we had to move since we were living with a Bolivian family. Unfortunately, our first Bolivian family had already agreed to host another missionary family before we arrived in Bolivia, and as a result we could only live with them for about 1 1/2 months. Because our new apartment will be occupied until August 28, we moved in with another Bolivian family this morning.

We are excited to have the opportunity to learn more about Bolivian culture from another family and experience their way of life. The family has two daughters that are about our age, and the mom enjoys cooking (which makes me happy, because sheยดs already agreed to teach me how to cook more Bolivian food!). And, of course, living with the family will continue to help us learn Spanish quickly!

One difficult part of moving in with another family is that we still do not have our own place to live. Itยดs been about 3 months since we moved out of our apartment in Houghton, and all of the time in transition has begun to wear on us. Please pray that we can make the most of our living situation for the next month and experience all that God has for us. We desire to learn and serve our family and want to enjoy the next month with them.

I shall take your request and pray ๐Ÿ™‚

I typed this out of curiosity…for I had been blessed to live in Bolivia for missions.
Long term is desperately needed ๐Ÿ™‚
    In every place.
This blog is for my artwork- so it might look strange ๐Ÿ˜›
    Most blogs are personal.
I can pray you will do well…..but God will use you in the blunders and success….as well as the wonderful brothers and sisters God has chosen you to live there and connect with you.
The land certainly is very beautiful. God’s word mentions that the creation speaks of His glory and gives credit where it is due(paraphrased of course)!

It sure is tiring the first bit ๐Ÿ™‚
    Just know and be encouraged-
wherever you are (even if it’s in Tim Hortons…living in a neighborhood of north america)> that is where you are supposed to be.
As long as God has you on planet earth- it’s for His awesome plan ๐Ÿ˜€
Kinda exciting to know He uses us when we can’t see it!

    your sister in Christ
